In a recent report, it was revealed that India is the fastest-growing market for YouTube. This is a testament to the fact that the majority of users in India watch YouTube videos largely on their smartphones. YouTube has a Signature Device list where it gives names of smartphones that “can deliver the best-in-class YouTube experience by combining next-generation technologies, video performance, and reliability.”

YouTube says that “to qualify as a Signature Device, a phone must support high dynamic range, high frame rate, reliable DRM performance, 4K decoding, and use next-generation video codecs.” Here are 20 ‘best’ smartphones for watching YouTube videos:

Huawei P30 Pro

Huawei’s latest flagship smartphone features a 6.5-inch OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone offers a resolution of 1080*2340 pixels.

The next phone on the list on LG V40 ThinQ that features a 6.4-inch P-OLED display. LG V40 ThinQ offers a display resolution of 1440*3120 pixels.

Honor View 20 was launched in January 2019 and features a 6.4-inch display offering 85.7% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone offers a display resolution of 1080*2310 pixels.
