Understanding Page Roles
Facebook has 5 page roles with different permissions. Choose the right one:

How to Add an Admin (Desktop)
- Go to your Facebook Page (not personal profile).
- Click Settings in the left sidebar (or top right on new layout).
- Click Page Roles in the left menu.
- Under "Assign a New Page Role", enter the person's name or email.
- Click the dropdown and select "Admin".
- Click Add.
- Enter your password to confirm.
- The person receives a notification and must accept the invite.
How to Add Admin on Mobile App
- Open the Facebook app and go to your Page.
- Tap More (three dots) > Settings.
- Tap Page Roles.
- Tap Add Person to Page (may need password).

- Tap Admin under "Choose a Role".

How to Add a Moderator
Same steps as adding an admin, but select "Moderator" from the dropdown instead. Moderators can:

- View Page insights.
- See who published as the Page.
Moderators cannot create posts, go live, change Page settings, or manage roles.
How to Remove an Admin
Only an existing admin can remove another admin:
- Go to Page Settings > Page Roles.
- Under "Existing Page Roles", find the admin to remove.
- Click Edit next to their name.
- Click Remove.
- Confirm the removal.
Warning: If you are the only admin, you cannot remove yourself. Add another admin first, then remove yourself if needed.
How to Transfer Page Ownership
To transfer full ownership to someone else:
- Add the new owner as Admin (steps above).
- Wait for them to accept the invite.
- Once they are an active admin, remove yourself from the page.
- The new admin becomes the primary owner.
For pages in Meta Business Suite: Business Settings > Pages > click the page > Assign Partners or People > change primary admin.
