Get Karma Reddit 2026 – Comment Rules + Subreddit Limits

Post on Reddit after changing display name. Each subreddit has posting rules and karma minimums. Save subreddit videos with Reddit Video Downloader. Rules work the same as last year. Tested February 4, 2026.

Subreddit → Create Post → Title + Content → Post. Read rules first. New accounts need comment karma (30+ common). Save videos before posting.
Post Karma vs Comment Karma

Comment karma matters more for new accounts.
Find Subreddits That Accept New Posters
- reddit.com → Search box → Type topic
- Filter by "Communities" tab
- Click community → "About" tab → "Posting restrictions"
- Check karma requirements
Example: r/AskReddit needs 30 comment karma.
Post from Computer Browser
- Go to subreddit page
- Click "Create Post" (top right)
- Choose post type (Text/Image/Link)
- Add title (under 300 characters)
- Add content
- Click "Post"
Title needs to follow subreddit rules.
Post from Phone App
- Tap subreddit → "Post" button
- Pick type (Text, Image, Link)
- Add title and content
- Check rules sidebar first
- Tap "Post"

Read Rules Before Posting
Every subreddit lists rules:
- About → Community rules → Read all
- Sidebar → "Posting Guidelines"
- Flair requirements → Pick correct one
Common rules:
- No low effort posts
- No polls in some subs
- Title must ask question
- Images only Wednesdays
