Download LinkedIn Videos for Offline Learning
LinkedIn hosts a wealth of professional development content including webinars, training sessions, thought leadership talks, product demos, and conference recordings. As the premier platform for professional networking, LinkedIn has become a critical resource for career development and continuing education. However, LinkedIn doesn't offer native video downloads — their platform is designed for streaming, not offline viewing.
Our downloader solves this by converting any public LinkedIn video into a downloadable MP4 file that works offline, archiving important professional content, or sharing valuable material with colleagues who may not have LinkedIn accounts. Whether you're saving a keynote presentation from a recent industry conference, a product launch demo, or a CEO's thought leadership talk, our tool preserves the original quality for offline viewing.
Professional content on LinkedIn often gets buried in feeds or loses visibility over time. By downloading videos now, you build a personal library of career-building resources that remains accessible regardless of the original post's availability. For content creators and marketers, downloading videos from industry leaders provides source material for analysis, competitor research, and content inspiration. If you need to reference a video later, downloading ensures it's available when you need it — even if the original poster deletes it or makes their profile private.
Archive LinkedIn Company Page Videos
One of the most critical use cases for our LinkedIn downloader is archiving company page videos. When businesses close, restructure, or simply decide to deactivate their LinkedIn presence, all video content associated with that company page disappears — permanently. Training videos, product launches, company announcements, and brand storytelling content vanish in an instant.
This isn't a hypothetical concern. Thousands of company pages are deactivated annually, taking valuable institutional knowledge with them. Companies merge, pivot to new branding, or simply go out of business — and their LinkedIn presence often goes with them. Employees who relied on internal training videos for onboarding, processes, or product knowledge suddenly find those resources unavailable. Competitors who wanted to study successful company launches lose access to case studies they were building.
Our downloader preserves videos from active company pages before they disappear. For personal profiles, the same risk exists — users delete accounts, change careers, or pass away, and their shared knowledge goes with them. LinkedIn Live recordings are particularly valuable because they capture real-time industry insights, expert panels, and networking events. These recordings are only available after the live stream ends, making timely downloads essential.
Whether you're an HR professional preserving onboarding content, a marketer saving competitor campaigns for analysis, or an employee building your personal knowledge base, downloading company page videos ensures this professional content remains accessible. Don't wait until a company deactivates their page — save important content now.
Download LinkedIn Learning Videos
Important clarification: LinkedIn Learning videos require a paid LinkedIn Learning subscription and are protected by digital rights management (DRM). Our tool only works with standard LinkedIn feed videos — the public posts containing video content that individuals and companies share on their profiles and pages.
Standard LinkedIn feed videos include a wide range of professional content: product demonstration videos, webinar highlights and teaser clips, conference talk recordings and keynotes, CEO announcements and company updates, industry expert interviews, recruitment and talent brand content, thought leadership presentations, and training tips from industry professionals.
To download these videos, simply paste the post URL from the LinkedIn feed into our downloader. The post must be public — content set to "connections only" or private cannot be accessed. Our system automatically detects the video content and offers download options including quality selection (up to 1080p HD) and MP3 audio extraction.
MP3 extraction is particularly useful for podcast-style LinkedIn posts where professionals share audio content, interview recordings, or verbal insights. Extracting the audio lets you listen to content during commutes, workouts, or other activities when watching a video isn't practical. The audio quality matches the original video's audio track, typically clean and clear since most LinkedIn creators use professional recording setups.
Troubleshooting LinkedIn Video Downloads
1. Post not found
This error indicates the LinkedIn post is either private, set to connections-only, or has been deleted. Our downloader only works with public posts. If you can't access the post without logging into LinkedIn, it's not downloadable. Try finding a public version of the content or request access from the original poster.
2. LinkedIn native video vs YouTube embed
Some LinkedIn posts embed YouTube videos rather than hosting native LinkedIn video content. If the post shows a YouTube player, the video is actually on YouTube. In this case, use our dedicated YouTube Downloader instead — it will work with the embedded video URL from the YouTube player.
3. LinkedIn Live recordings
LinkedIn Live streams can only be downloaded after they end and the recording is published as a regular post. During the live broadcast, no video file exists on LinkedIn's servers for our downloader to access. Check the profile 24-48 hours after a live event for the published recording, then copy that post URL.
4. URL format
Always use the full post URL that includes the activity ID. A company page URL (like linkedin.com/company/companyname) won't work — you need the specific post URL (like linkedin.com/posts/username/activity-id). The post URL contains "/posts/" in the path and ends with a unique alphanumeric ID.
5. Mobile LinkedIn app
On the LinkedIn mobile app, tap the three dots (•••) menu on the post to access options, then select "Copy link" to get the correct post URL. Do not copy the URL from the address bar in mobile browser as it may be truncated. The correct URL format includes the full activity ID needed for downloading.
Which Quality Should You Download?
| Quality | Best For | File Size | Device |
|---|
| 1080p Full HD | Professional content, presentations | 50-200 MB | All devices |
| 720p HD | Most LinkedIn videos | 20-80 MB | Phone, tablet |
| 480p SD | Quick sharing, older devices | 10-30 MB | Old devices |
| Audio Only (MP3) | Podcasts, voice, interviews | 1-5 MB | All devices |
| Batch Mode | Multiple videos at once | Varies | Desktop recommended |
LinkedIn is primarily a professional platform, meaning most videos are business-related content like presentations, webinars, and training material. The typical quality ranges from 720p to 1080p since professionals typically use decent recording equipment. Choose 1080p for the best quality when archiving important content. For listening on-the-go, MP3 extraction provides audio-only files perfect for podcasts, interview highlights, and voice insights.

LinkedIn Download Tips & Tricks
Archiving Company Page Videos
Company pages can be deactivated without warning. If you find valuable training or brand content on a company page, download it immediately. Use Batch mode to download multiple videos in one session. This is especially important for internal training content that would be lost if the company restructures or closes.
Downloading LinkedIn Live Recordings
LinkedIn Live recordings are only available after the stream ends and the recording is posted. Check profiles 24-48 hours after the live event. Recordings are typically posted as regular video posts, making them downloadable just like any other public content. Choose 1080p for best quality on professional Live content.
Batch Mode for Multiple Videos
Use Batch mode to download multiple LinkedIn videos at once. This is ideal for saving entire webinar series, training course playlists, or competitor content libraries. Paste multiple post URLs (one per line) in Batch mode and all videos will process in sequence. This feature is particularly valuable for researchers and content marketers.
