1. What We Collect

We believe in collecting as little data as possible. Here's what happens when you use our service:

• Video URLs: When you submit a URL for download, it is processed and then immediately deleted. We never store URLs in any database.
• IP address: Used only for rate limiting to prevent abuse. Not stored in any database.
• No personal data: We never collect names, emails, or account information.
• Download history: Stored in your browser's localStorage only. This data is never sent to our servers.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• No URL storage after download completes
• No clipboard data access
• No browsing history
• No data sold to advertisers — ever

3. Cookies

We use only essential cookies:

• Cloudflare security cookie: Lasts 30 minutes for DDoS protection
• Rate limit session cookie: Prevents abuse, lasts only for the session
• Analytics cookies (only if you accept): Google Analytics 4 with 2-year TTL, only after explicit consent

4. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

You have full control over your data:

• Decline analytics via the consent banner at the bottom of the page
• Clear your local download history using the button in the downloader widget
• Contact us anytime with questions about your data

5. Data Retention

We don't hold onto your data:

• Video URLs: Deleted immediately after download job completes
• Temporary files: Auto-deleted after 1 hour maximum
• Rate limit records: Deleted after 60 seconds

6. Security

• TLS 1.3 encryption: All connections are encrypted
• Isolated workers: Download processing runs in containers with no database access
• No data persistence: URLs are processed in memory and never written to disk
