When you toggle off a category, Pinterest shows a message: "Turned off! You will start seeing fewer GenAI ideas for [category] soon." The key word is "fewer" - not "none." Pinterest does not guarantee complete removal of AI content. In our testing, we saw about 70-80% reduction in AI content after toggling off all categories.
For finer control, you can hide individual AI pins as you browse. This trains Pinterest to show less AI content in your specific feed.
Find an AI-Generated Pin
Look for the "AI modified" label in the bottom left corner of pins
